Even if you already believe numbers in the Bible have spiritual meanings, we encourage you to read this section carefully.

THE REVELATION OF GOD – HIS WITNESSES

We start by broadening our minds as to the ways God communicates truth to man.  As we prove below, Scripture itself attests there are other witnesses of God than Scripture.  It is a good thing, because prior to Moses there was no Scripture at all.  After Moses the distribution of Scripture was limited to very few people.  It was only 1450 years after Christ before the Bible was printed for the masses.  The Bible is still being translated into the tongues of ethnic groups.  God has never been limited by the distribution of Scripture to get His message out.  All things, including Scripture, which are witnesses of God are the direct result of His design and have come into being by the power of His might.

(1)     CREATION

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” (Romans 1:19)

For most of recorded history the people groups of the world, from the aboriginals to the most civilized nations, have acknowledged a Creator made all that is visible and all that is invisible, including each of us.  For an eternal divine being to have created us suggests our responsibility to offer something in return.  A Creator of the wonderful world we live in is certainly owed praise and thanks.  To those who see His mercy, His justice, and His holiness the offering of worship is fitting.  To those who see their sinfulness in comparison to Him, there is need for atonement for sin.  See our pages:  5.0 Creation and 9.0 Geography.

(2)    STARS IN THE HEAVENS

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they pour forth knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice has not been heard.  Their voice goes into all the earth, to the ends of the world.  In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.”  (Psalm 19:1-5)

For those of you who don’t know, the names of the stars were common knowledge across all cultures in the ancient world.  This was because star names came from a common source: they were passed from Noah to his sons, and from them to the forefathers of all the nations.  The star names passed to Noah from his forefathers who received them from Adam.  Adam received them from the Lord, who visited Adam in the cool of the day, i.e. in the evening, when the stars were out (Gen. 3:8).  What a starry display that must have been because there were never any clouds in the Garden of Eden to obscure them (Gen. 2:5).  Adam named the animals but God named the stars.  It was a Bible in the sky.

Each constellation in the heavens portrays a prophetic event and the star names fill out the meaning; God did not put the stars in the sky for an astrological purpose, as the pagans falsely believe.  The zodiac contains the constellations located near the circuit the sun makes when it travels through the sky, as alluded to in the verses in Psalm 19 above.  For example, the constellation Virgo points to the virgin birth of Christ.  We provide in depth original research on this site into the meaning of God’s truth in the stars.  See our pages:  7.0 Stars

(3)    TIME

A farmer looks at a seed of wheat in his hand.  He knows exactly how that seed will grow, what the plant will look like, and when it will bear fruit for harvest.   God is the farmer and the seed in his hand are the words he has spoken from eternity.  God knows how each of his words will take root, shoot up, and bear fruit.  Time is merely the unfolding of God’s prophetic word.

The fulfillment of prophecy did not stop at the Cross.  All history and all time is under the administration of God’s word.  We have numerous pages on our site related to prophecy in man’s affairs, past, present, and future: 4.0 Prophecy10.0 TimeIsaiah, Jeremiah, Keys of the Kingdom.

(4)    HUMAN CONSCIENCE

for when the Gentiles, who do not have the [Mosaic] law,  by nature do the things in the [Mosaic] law, these, although not having the [Mosaic] law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing” (Romans 2:14,15)

Our God given conscience tells us: (1) there is right and wrong, (2) wrong is sin against our Creator, and (3) sin merits punishment.  Instinctively we know all sin is destructive in some way.  Destruction mars creation, and so whatever is wrong is sin against the Creator.  He gave us a beautiful life; we fill it with vain pursuits.  He gave us an environment full of colorful and useful creatures that can provide our needs; we trash it.  He gives us a family and supportive relationships; we ignore and abuse them.  He supplies our needs; our appetite is never satisfied.  See our page:  15.0 Covenants.

(5)      MIRACLES

I tell you the truth, but you do not believe.  The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.  My sheep listen for my voice…” (John 10:25-27)

A supernatural miracle of God is something that defies the laws of science.  Like water parting and standing in a heap so the Israelites could cross the Red Sea on dry ground.  Supernatural events with many thousands of witnesses are recorded all through Scripture and are indisputably acts of God.  Miracles often mark the beginning and end of epochs of God’s dealings with his chosen people.

Would you be shocked if we told you just such a huge supernatural event took place in our time?  The 911 attack on the Two Towers in New York was conceived and carried out by Arab terrorists.  They hijacked airliners which flew into the towers.  The towers withstood the airliner impacts and the fuel explosions as they were designed to do.  The majority of tower occupants evacuated safely.

The miracle on 911 happened after the impacts.  Two 110 story steel and cement towers collapsed into dust in 9 to 15 seconds without release of heat.  Not only that but a third building (WTC 7) also collapsed into dust and a plane never hit it.  A professor of mechanical engineering has published a textbook which proves the collapse of the towers on Sep 11 can’t be explained by the laws of physics.  In truth, the collapse of the towers was a supernatural act of God meant to draw our attention.  We provide lengthy prophecies in the Old Testament that predict all the tiny details of 911.  Yes, miracles occur in our day.  See our page 11 SEP 911.

(6)    JUDGMENTS

Moreover, all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.  And they shall be upon you as a sign and a wonder… ” (Deut. 28:45-46)

God speaks through judgment.  That could be calamity, disasters, famines, plagues, wars, pestilence, indebtedness, confusion, madness, destruction, etc. Whenever God speaks, whether through creation, the stars, or the human conscience, we experience awe and sometimes conviction of sin.  If we do not repent of sin, if we resist the witness of God, and if we harden our hearts, God will turn away and permit punishment to overtake us.  When bad things happen, it is a sign from God.  It is a witness that God is intensely involved with us; He is judging our intents, thoughts, and deeds.  See our page 13.0 Fear No Evil.

(7)    MERCIES

I am He and there is no God besides me; I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal; Nor is there anyone who can deliver out of my hand” (Deut. 32:39)

J. Vernon McGee was asked if God heals.  He replied “Is there any other way?”.  God speaks through mercy.  All healing, whether assisted by medicines or not, comes by the grace of God.  Life is so complex and fragile it ought to fall to pieces immediately.  God sustains everything by the power of His Word.  When we recover from illness or injury, we can thank God.  How many do?  And so we sin because we do not repent of the evil we know we do, and we also sin when we do not give thanks for the good God provides for us.

(8)    PERSONAL REVELATION

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said ‘Who is this who darkens my counsel by words without knowledge?’” (Job 38:1-2) “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?  Tell me if you know.  Who determined its measurements? Surely you know!” (Job 38:4-5)

God will at times directly communicate with a human being.  Based on the witness of creation, the stars, and oral history Job knew there was a redeemer and Job feared God and Job obeyed God’s commandments.  What Job did not know was his faithfulness had led to a problem of spiritual pride.  In spite of severe judgments against Job’s possessions, his family, even his health, Job would not humble himself.  God spoke to Job directly with words, and Job got the message:  “Behold, I am vile.” (Job 40:4).  The author’s personal revelations are on this site:  11.0 My Heart

(9)    GREAT PYRAMID

In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border.  And it will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of Hosts in the land of Egypt” (Isaiah 19:19-20)

In this passage of Scripture, Isaiah is looking ahead to a time not yet come when there will be a pillar to the Lord, a monument testifying to a covenant between Egypt, Israel, and Assyria.  We believe the Great Pyramid was also a pile of stones testifying of a covenant between Noah and his three sons, Ham Shem and Japheth, to set the borders of the ancient peoples.  The Great Pyramid satisfies the requirement of Isaiah that it is ‘in the midst of Egypt’ but at the same time located ‘at the border’, i.e. between the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom of Egypt.

The chambers and passages of the Great Pyramid were not opened until the Al-Mamoun broke through in 820 AD.  Precise measurements of the passageways did not occur until Professor Petrie in 1883 AD.  Using the measurements of the internal passages of the Great Pyramid the date of the crucifixion of Christ has been demonstrated.  We provide original research on this site into all the rest of the prophetic knowledge contained in the measurements of the Great Pyramid.  For more information, we invite you to visit our page: 12.0 Giza Pyramids

God reveals himself in so many ways.  Would it surprise us if God revealed Himself through numbers also? We now turn our attention to His revelation through Scriptures, the collection of sacred writings contained in the Holy Bible.

REVELATION OF GOD – IN THE SCRIPTURE

Discussion of the spiritual meaning of Bible numbers must take place in the context of the meaning of all Scripture.

(10)     DIVINE INSPIRATION

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim 3:16)    “…for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:20-21)

We call it the Holy Bible, because it is set apart from all other writings of men.  The people who wrote the words of the Holy Bible were simply transcribing those things God spoke to them, word for word, letter for letter.  At times the scribes did not understand what they were writing.  When they read the words of their prophecy they wondered, “what can those words mean?” (2 Peter 1:10-12)  Many of the meanings have become clear as history and further revelation of Scripture unfolded.  Some meanings are still a mystery to this day.  Only God, who has perfect foreknowledge of the future could have inspired prophets to describe future events in minute detail long before they took place.  This is one of the strong proofs that the Bible is of divine not human authorship (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).  Even the shapes of the Hebrew letters of Scripture are rich with divine revelation, as we demonstrate on our page:  22.0 Hebrew

(11)     TRUTH AS PLAINLY READ BY BELIEVERS

For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand.” (2 Cor 1:13) “But when He the, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13) “..just as our dear brother Paul writes the same way in all his letters.  His letters contain some things hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures.” (2 Peter 3:16)

The plain words on a page of Scripture say what they mean and mean what they say.  A child of God, a believer in Jesus Christ, will be aided by the Holy Spirit in understanding what those words mean.  The important point is there is no need for a priest or interpreter, with esoteric knowledge or a special gift from God, to help us understand the plain meaning of Scripture.  Teachers in the body are useful to help us understand the difficult passages.  Teachers are not essential for us to grow spiritually or to appreciate the main truths of the Bible.  There is the milk of the word, the bread of the word, and the meat of the word.  It also takes time for believers to progress from the easiest truths to digest to the hardest truths to digest.  No revelation that contradicts the plain truth of Scripture is from God.  The plain truth of Scripture is the test of all things.  The ability of translators to capture the meaning of the Scripture in the original language is essential here.

TRUTH IN TYPES

For the Scripture says ‘Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain’, and ‘the workers deserve their wages’. “ (1 Tim 5:18) “The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.  The Lord will give you insight into all this.” (2 Tim 2:6) “For it is written in the Law of Moses: ‘Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain’.  Is it about oxen that God is concerned? (1 Cor. 9:9)

Based on the verses above, Paul himself teaches that Scripture can have at least two levels of meaning: the first level is the plain meaning ‘Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain’; and the second level is an interpretation that uses the objects in the plain meaning as figures implying something else, i.e. ‘the worker deserves his wages’.  In this case, the worker referred to is a servant in the church and the wages are food and clothing (1 Tim. 6:8).  The key to understanding what a type means is Paul’s assertion ‘The Lord will give you insight into all this’.  It is the role of the Holy Spirit to unveil the meaning of types.  By their nature types are mysterious, and defy absolute definition.  It would be unwise for example to base a doctrine strictly on the insight gained from a type.  But there are types in Scripture and they are there for our edification.

TRUTH IN SHADOWS

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.  These are a shadow of the things that were to come, the reality, however is found in Christ.” (Col 2:16-17) “For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed.” (1 Cor. 5:7) “God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.  Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.” (Acts 2:32-33)

The Bible teaches the Jewish holy days of Sabbath, Passover, and Pentecost as described in the Old Testament have a deeper meaning and a prophetic fulfillment in the New Testament.  Shadows are a special kind of Type (see description above) that are rich with significance for all believers.  The existence of Shadows suggests God in foreknowledge has arranged many if not all the details of his instructions for the tabernacles, the temples, and Jewish ritual observances to have deep spiritual meaning to Christians.  We look back at those things described in the Law and see in them detailed descriptions of the person and work of Jesus Christ, for example.  To learn more please visit our page:  4.0 Prophecy

We find that God reveals things at more than one level in the Scripture.  We find authoritative and definitive information in the plain meaning of the words, but we also find truth in the types and shadows relating to people, places, events, and geography.  Everything in the Bible is potentially filled with levels of meaning to be discovered.  Some of these figurative meanings have been spelled out and explained to us, for example in Galatians chapter 4 verses 21 to 27.  Other types and shadows are for us to understand by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and with the guidance of the words of Scripture taken at their face meaning.

(12) REVELATION OF GOD – IN BIBLE NUMBERS

Do you believe in numbers?  Are you sure?  You can’t see them.  Yet, most of us assume numbers exist.  We have used numbers all our lives to tell the time, to pay our bills, to measure our height, to make phone calls.  Yet, numbers are spiritual in their very nature: they exist but you can’t see them.  Numbers are also perfect, what they say is exactly what they mean.  There is no deviation or decay in the meaning of a number over time.  Numbers never change with season or temperature, they always stay the same.  Numbers are everlasting, from age to age the same.  God is spiritual.  He exists, but you can’t see Him.  God is perfect.  There is no fault or imperfection in Him.  God is everlasting.  He always has been and always will be.  How appropriate would it be for God to use something spiritual, perfect, and everlasting, like numbers, to describe for us other things that are spiritual, perfect, and everlasting.   In fact, we believe that is precisely what God does.

This PDF document might be a place to start your deeper investigation:  Numbers Can Talk // Insights into our methodology for determining the spiritual meaning of numbers //

SEEK WISDOM

Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.  Though it cost you all you have, get understanding.” (Prov 4:7) “This calls for wisdom.  If anyone has insight, let him  calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number.  His number is 666.” (Rev. 13:18)

Consider the implication of the verse in Revelation 13:18.  Scripture is saying wisdom and insight are capable of connecting a person in the Bible, in this case the beast of Revelation 13, with a number.  The verse also suggests that man has a number.  That number is not stated but we understand the number of man is six because man was created on the sixth day.  Revelation 13:18 also suggests wisdom is capable of calculating with numbers.  For example:  666 = 3 x 37 x 6.  Three has the meaning “God”.  Thirty-seven means “Chosen Servant”.  Six means “Man”.  So, the meaning of 666 is related to the composition of the prime numbers that comprise it.  By this logic, 666 could be translated using number meanings as “The Man [who claims] to be God’s Chosen Servant”.  The Anti-Christ will pose as the Messiah and force the world to worship him as God, while in fact he is not God he is only a Man.  The identity of the man and the meaning of the number match perfectly.

HIDDEN MEANINGS

To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna.” (Rev. 2:17)  “…turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you cry out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.” (Prov. 2:2-5)

We are familiar with mana (Exodus 16).  It was the food that came miraculously down out of heaven to feed the people of God while they were on their wilderness journey.  It sustained the people for 40 years, yet they did not know what it was.  The Israelites collected mana in the cool of the morning.  It was white and appeared like thin flakes on the ground.  When the sun grew hot it melted away.  The New Testament refers to mana as “spiritual food” (1 Cor. 10:3).  The Hebrew word for mana (Exodus 16:15) is spelled “Mana” in the text and is composed of only two Hebrew letters Mem and Nun.  Note: vowels don’t appear as letters in Hebrew.  The next Hebrew word in the lexicon is “Manah”, which is composed of three letters: Mem, Nun, and He.  “Manah” means “count” or “number”!!!  Could the word “Manah” have been shortened or abbreviated as “Mana” in the Exodus text?  The letter He, like our English letter H, has no sound, just a breath.  The two words “Mana” and “Manah” sound almost the same.

We believe the hidden “mana” is number meanings.  In the same way the mana sustained the Israelites, the number meanings in Scripture sustains the over-comer in Christ (Rev. 2:17) as he or she travels through the spiritual desert of this world.

When we see the wonderful meanings of the numbers of God, the sublime patterns, the way the numbers are consistently used through all Scripture, and the way the meanings build on each other to calculate the meanings of larger numbers, we recognize that only a mind with unlimited capacity and foresight, such as the mind of God, could have arranged these things for our benefit.  The divine inspiration of Scriptures is verified, and our faith in the Word of God soars to the heavens.

FINAL PROOF

For those who want final proof, we direct your attention back to the paragraph on “Truth in Types” above.  The meaning of any type or figure in the Bible is only definitive in the special case when the Bible says what it means.  In all other cases, there is a mystery.  A number is just another kind of type and the same rule applies.  Those who doubt numbers have meanings are free to do so.  The rest of us will feast on the banquet of God’s revelation including all the courses.

Yes, the Bible says there are hidden meanings in Scripture.  They are precious and we are encouraged to search for them like hidden treasure.  None of the hidden meanings will ever contradict a fact we understand from reading Scripture.

The list of resources below shows other respectable Bible scholars support this approach.

We offer these resources, not because they are authoritative, but because they show how people have explored Bible numbers.

Anyone wishing to enter this field must come in a spirit of humility because the Bible says “we see through a glass darkly”.

No one has all the answers.  Some of us will reach wrong conclusions.  But all of us will glorify God, because we see His hand in it.

This is GREAT!! Although many of the Spiritual Number pdfs are not showing the info when opened. I was able to print off about 6 or so. I really am enjoying this information as it has opened up more for me biblically speaking. Very interesting!!!

    Hi Mark!
Thank you for your good work.
Kindly help me understand the meaning of number 112. I have read your work but I haven’t mastered how to interpret correctly. At glance 112 mean GENEROSITY TO THE POOR but when I try parsing the numbers I get a different meaning.
OPTION 1: 112 is 1 “meets” 12. The meaning of 1 is “I am Lord” and 12 is “Fearful Power”. This shows LORD’S AUTHORITY.
OPTION 2: 112 is 11 “meets” 2. The meaning of 11 is “Conniving” and 2 is “Lion on Loose”. This shows LION ON LOOSE TO ACCOMPLISH EVIL PLAN.
    Please help.

    • mark h lane May 15, 2023 at 1:38 pm #

Hi. I see you read ‘Numbers Can Talk’. We will clarify. When we say ‘meet’ we mean ‘confront’ or ‘challenge’. 1 is an absolute dictator. In a 1 world 1 is rich everyone else is poor. 12 is a government based on principles and a wider circle of interests. How will a challenge between 1 and 12 resolve? Probably a compromise. 1 will consider some other interests than his own. If so, then 1 will be more GENEROUS TO THE POOR (everyone else) than he was before. Example would be Europe’s monarchs permitting parliaments the right to make laws. In reaching my meaning for 112 I looked at the factors. 112 = 2 x 56 or ‘Division’ of ‘Hard Heart’. And 112 = 4 x 28 or ‘Message’ of “Christ in You’. And 112 = 8 x 14 or ‘Strong Man’ of ‘The Righteous’ (orphans, widows, helpless of society). Hope this helps. Appreciate the question. servant mark

Can you explain the number 233 and whether the purple boxes above it goes with that number?

    • mark h lane May 23, 2022 at 9:39 pm #

Hi LadiV. You are referring to the chart for spiritual numbers 212-to-240. Numbers above the line, e.g. 233, are ‘Perfect’, and numbers below the line, e.g. 231, 232, 234 are ‘Sinful’. So 233 is a good number! Above 233 are two Bible chapters. 1 John 3 is the 233rd chapter of the New Testament. Ruth 1 is the 233rd chapter of the Old Testament. 1 John 3 literally gushes with positivity. “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us!” (v.1) Ruth 1 presents us with a rare gem, a convert to Jehovah from outside Israel. The number 233 has been given the meaning ‘Believers Appear Again in the Holy Land’. The famine drove them away, but they returned. Even though Naomi said her life was very bitter, we infer her faith was intact because she saw the hand of the LORD in it all. The three purple boxes in the chart are the parts of the 47th Truth triplet. These are negative things and pertain to the numbers 231, 232, and 234. This is what makes #233 so precious. The new believers appear in the midst of a very dark time of disobedience and judgment of sinners. Read 1 John 3 all the way through. This is exactly the point he makes. God sees the heart of his faithful believer in stark contrast to others who might make a pretense of faith but when hard times come don’t act like a child of God. Hope that helps. Blessings. servant mark

      • LadiV May 24, 2022 at 3:29 pm #

Thank you Mark! I always thought the purple boxes was for the top numbers only. For example, 29 Holy Life, but purple box says separated life. That one may not be a good example, but it’s one I’ve seen lately when I’m going through a situation with a friend and we are living our lives apart instead of together before our issues.

        • mark h lane May 26, 2022 at 9:57 am #

There are meanings, e.g. 29 Holy Life, and there are shades of meanings, purple boxes. Due to space I had to keep meanings short. Shades of meaning expand the sense. With literally hundreds of numbers I had to condense for the purpose of the maps. It is best to study, for example the 29th chapters, the 29th verses, the 29th occurrences to better inform oneself of the fulness of the meanings. The word ‘holy’ literally means ‘set apart’. Some don’t know that, they think holy means ‘sacred’. So the purple box is there as an aid to the reader.

    Hello Mark,

Thank you for the work that you do on this website.

I wanted to mention that I believe a typo-type error was made on this page.

It should be “Rachel’, not ‘Sarah” (Rachel, Benjamin’s mother who died in childbirth.)

    Click to access the-seven-seals-version-2.pdf

I also have a question. Doesn’t the Bible state that we should not be engaged with astrology? You don’t promote astrology/horoscopes on your site, however, the interweaving of, and references to, astrology-related zodiac signs/content and comparisons/analogies that you include seems like it’s in contrast to scripture, isn’t it? Just because the Wise Men followed the star at the time of Jesus’s birth seems too narrow of an example to extrapolate to the zodiac/signs, etc.?

I appreciate your detailed calculations, and analogies in history to the 7 seals but it seems like it’s trying to look for things to fit in with whatever can fit into them. I think the 7 seals are mysterious enough that we can’t try to fit things into them. We don’t even know if they have happened yet or if they are actually starting to happen now. Part of the the mystery of Revelation IS the mystery. Your end-days calculations could be correct, who knows, but I personally think that the Rapture is more closely imminent than those calculations.

Nothing in terms of very specific calculations must happen for the actual Rapture to occur. We were only given some clues in Scripture. Who knows, it could be next month or next year. That’s my spiritual belief, and not based on specific calculations. The Bible tells us that no one knows when, other than when unexpected, as this is also a mystery. The fact that specific calculations would be calculated might be all the more reason enough for God to do the opposite and all the more unexpected timing. We know God never ceases to surprise us!

    Thank you and regards,
    Lillian

    • mark h lane May 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm #

Hi Lillian. Astrology, as popularly known, is the false method of using Zodiac signs to predict the personality of persons who happen to be born under those signs. Astrology is also used to predict events in the lives of individuals born under those signs. Let me be clear – I don’t believe there is any link between date of birth and an astrological sign associated with the calendar birth month. However, the Bible teaches there is Truth in the stars and we do well to pay attention to it. In the Bible many of the constellations are named. Example of three: Job 38 v 31 “Can you bind the beautiful Pleades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? (Orion 1)” v 32 “Can you bring the constellations forth in their seasons? Or lead out the Bear (Ursa Major 2) and her cubs (Ursa Minor 3)?” There are 50 constellations relevant to Biblical prophecy. Interestingly, the 50th chapter of the Books of Wisdom is Psalm 8 (42 for Job + 8th Psalm = 50). Psalm 8 says “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him?” The 50th Psalm says “The Mighty One, God, the LORD speaks and summons the earth, from the rising of the Sun to the place where it sets” The 50th chapter of the Bible says “The the LORD said to Moses ‘Stretch out your hand toward the sky, so that darkness will spread over Egypt'”. The 50th chapter of the Prophets, Isaiah 50 says “I clothe the sky with darkness and make sackcloth its covering”. I could go on. But there is no proof. Only evidence. You, like many Christians, including myself, started our faith journey with a love and respect for the authority of Scripture. But for most of recorded history Scriptures weren’t gathered, collated, translated, and widely published. That didn’t stop God. Gen. 15 v 5 “He took him [Abram] outside and said ‘Look up at the heavens and count the stars – if indeed you can count them. ‘So shall your offspring be.'” God used the stars to communicate spiritual messages to his faithful. Gen. 15 v 6 “Abram believed the LORD and He credited it to him as righteousness.” Was this Astrology God was using on Abram? No. God was using the stars to communicate a prophetic truth: Abram would have, in the future, innumerable descendants. Both physical descendants and spiritual descendants. God has also taken me outside and shown me the stars. On my farm on the prairies the stars at night were resplendent. I believe God put those stars up there to convey spiritual truth to believers. If you aren’t ready to believe that, fine. You don’t need to believe that to get saved or to grow in the LORD. God bless. servant mark

I only wish I had the words to accurately and systematically describe how your number chart system literally prophesied exact events in my life everyday for 3 months. I would simply go through a severe situation and then see a number and have the faith to check what it meant on the number chart then days later, sometimes hours the number chart definition would come to pass.

I know from faith and experience that God does use numbers as hidden mana to equip and encourage us in this Christian journey.

May God continue to bless all the hard work and study you have put into this site. All glory to Jesus.

Hi David. Great to hear man. I went through a stressful time and I saw numbers then looked up their meanings. It helped me too. I will say since my life has returned to relative normalcy I don’t see or depend on the numbers so intensely. God gave the Israelites manna in the desert time of their life. I totally believe your experience is real. I also believe God talks to different people differently. If others don’t see numbers or accept their meanings He will speak to them in other ways. The last few days I was cutting banana skins (prep for compost) and I cut my finger. Then the next day it happened again. I never cut myself. I was a sign from God. I had made an assumption in interpreting the meaning of stars. I went back and re-examined my assumption. I was not “dividing” the truth correctly. I was not cutting “perfectly”. I changed my assumption and of course never cut myself again. So the LORD speaks in many ways. Who is listening? Blessings. servant mark

Hi, Thank You for helping me to learn so much. I wondered why Leo constellation wasn’t accessible? I found something interesting that sent me on a study journey. I needed to find the meaning of Regulus in Leo constellation. I did find Prophecy in the stars, expanded. May I make a suggestion to watch The revelation of the Pyramids? I think you will find It interesting. It is quite detailed, but brings your information on the Giza all together. Blessings.

Hello Velvet. I haven’t finished Leo. Maybe you can use the techniques you have learned from the site and research it yourself. The goal here is not to provide all the answers but to provide tools that other workmen can use to continue the project. I’m certainly not able to do it all by myself. Regarding the video, our material is free to all but if you publish then you are obligated to give attribution. Others will come here and hopefully some of them will be inspired to take up the task and become workmen themselves, not just readers. Thank you. servant mark

Hi, Is it allowed to use the stars to prophesie? Isn’t that astrology?

        • mark h lane February 13, 2022 at 4:41 pm #

No. Astrology is the perversion of star truth. The constellations have been identified since the most ancient times. Astrology errs in that it assigns the wrong meanings to the signs and makes the wrong assumption that signs rule the fate of individuals born in a particular month. It is our job to strip away those invented astrological falsehoods. We explore the true meaning of the signs and the correct application of the signs. The Bible teaches the starry heavens are full of truth for believers: “The heavens declare the glory of God… Day unto day they utter speech. Night unto night they reveal knowledge” (Psalm 19). Now we see why Astrology wanted to cover this up with an invented system. The truth about God’s power and authority is revealed in the signs. A ‘Day’ is a prophetic term, meaning a year or a thousand year period (2 Peter 3 v 8). So here is our clue in Psalm 19. The heavenly signs indicate God’s purpose and intention for whole years, not months. The application also applies to all people alive during those years, not just the ones born in them. Furthermore, when we dive into this we discover there are 50 different signs and the future unfolds in 50 year cycles, each sign pertaining to a year. Another mystery we investigate, see our research in the STARS page, is the correct order of the 50 signs. The procession begins at Virgo, sign #1, proceeds through Leo, sign #12, then continues through the rest of the signs all the way to the 50th sign, Argo Pupis, then starts over again for the following year at sign #1. The start year for the procession is 1 AD. If you don’t want to believe there is prophetic knowledge in the stars, fine and well. But the Wise Men from the East investigated the truth in the stars and showed up at the correct time and place of Jesus’ birth to worship Him. Blessings. servant mark.

  11. Ladi May 23, 2021 at 12:35 pm #

Hello Mark, I recently redownloaded the numbers PDFs and noticed some of the numbers had been updated. For example, the number 48 and 52. Those were just two I noticed that had been changed and I was wondering why?

    • mark h lane May 28, 2021 at 5:54 am #

Hello Ladi. I do refine meanings over time. The list on the side panel on the right hand side of the Home Page is my most up to date thinking. I might wish the meanings of numbers could be crystal clear and immutable. However numbers are mystical. This is not a science it is an art. It is the soul talk of the Spirit of God. My English words are weak at best in attempting to express meanings of the deep things of God. So from time to time I do change my English interpretations. I’ve tried to explain to users of these meanings that the best way to gain a proficiency is to study the number s in Scripture yourself and let the Spirit whisper to you what they mean. He is your Teacher. Blessings.

    Hi Mark,

(Reposting b/c not sure if my comment went thru). I am simply not understanding exactly how the numbers are tied to the scriptures you have here. I’m not denying they are– I just don’t know (how). I’ve been seeing the numbers 211 and 511 repeatedly, in addition to 47 and 147 (the latter ones I’ve been seeing for longer). What I am seeing in the passages is no mention of the numbers (even in the number of the chapters and verses) within the passages they are tied to here. The question is essentially: how did you come to tie these numbers to the passages you’ve tied them to. That is partly my disconnect: from where is the number meaning derived?

In addition, I guess I am struggling to figure out what message I am getting from God by seeing these numbers repeatedly. I think that more so on a macro level reading the passages you have tied to the numbers make sense to where my head has been recently, but am I wrong to think that the numbers have personal meanings to them (a message of personal revelation and guidance given by God)?

    • mark h lane February 25, 2021 at 2:57 pm #

Hi. We walk by faith. God speaks spirit to spirit ‘through the waterfall’. If you believe Jesus spoke truth and believe He rose from the dead on the third day, then you have the Spirit of God in you by faith. If so and numbers keep coming it is likely they are a message. I can’t tell you what the message means to you. For myself I have looked up the passages corresponding to the numbers and my spirit was encouraged. There was a word in those passages or an instruction I needed to hear. The 211th chapter in the Bible is Joshua 24 – the Covenant at Shechem. This was the day the people pledged to serve the LORD then shortly thereafter melted away – each going his own way. Progress in the spiritual battle halted and began a tide of reverse. If you keep seeing 211 and that story has no relevance to you – perhaps you are seeing it on behalf of the wider community of faith. Since we are in the Last Days – to be sure we are – the story certainly has relevance to events unfolding around us. Blessings. servant mark

been looking at your numbers for a while.Need some explanation as to how to follow your thinking. I look for a number starting in genesis and look thru the Bible to determine if there is sufficient evidence to support what I think is a meaning behind the number. When I look at your charts I am not getting your reasoning many times .like a little help on this. thank youy

    • mark h lane September 5, 2018 at 9:12 am #

Hi. To get a grip on my thinking please read 1 INTRO and 2 THEMES (and documents therein). By the time you go through the Appendixes on the documents in the 2 THEMES page you should be getting a handle on how this is done. Why are flowers beautiful? When the wind plays on the strings of your heart and you hear a melody… the Spirit confirms with your spirit the beauty of the Lord. This is part science but greater part spirit. My meanings are not authoritative. What the Spirit confirms with your spirit is authoritative. Eat what digests well. Leave the rest. Come back later and see if your tastes have changed. Hi. I just recently began to study the deeper meaning of what numbers symbolize. I just learned about the number five and how the hebrew language is alpha numeric and The reason behind why David collected five stones when going to face Goliath etc… I wonder if you could help me figure out the meaning of the number 624. I looked up the 624th chapter of the Bible, but nothing is really jumping out to me. Does that chapter (psalms 146) mean provision? Do you have any insight?

        • mark h lane November 10, 2018 at 9:26 pm #

Hi Amy. 624 is a very advanced number! My advice is to take your time and work on learning how God uses numbers in Scripture. Meditate on it. Start with simple numbers as you come across them. With practice you will gain facility using this as a Bible tool and thereby gain confidence in your understanding and interpretation. It took me years, then decades, to gain some proficiency. It’s like learning a foreign language. It takes time. And some people are better at it. servant mark

    • Bryan August 21, 2019 at 8:27 pm #

Jewish culture and the Hebrew language itself contains a lot of these ‘hidden’ messages… Pretty much all versions of the ‘translated’ Bible are quite poorly translated. Use blue letter Bible app or webpage. You’ll find that your understanding of things will accelerate. If you are doing all of this already then praise God. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
P.S. – Pray for wisdom and understanding, every single day. It’s all in proverbs.

      • mark h lane January 20, 2020 at 1:47 pm #

I agree. The Word of God is perfect: in the original language. As soon as we translate we lose something. I don’t speak Hebrew or Greek but there are helps online, like Abarim, for understanding the meanings of Hebrew words. Thank you for your comment.

          Mark,
Is numerology and gematria the sane? Also, your notebook provides all signs, but not Leo, why? Lastly, where is safer to live? Do you offer online meetings? Stay blessed!
          Irene

          • mark h lane April 3, 2020 at 6:31 pm #

Gematria assigns a number to a letter of a written language. For example, Aleph is the first Hebrew letter. The gematria value of Aleph is 1. Beth is the second Hebrew letter. The gematria of Beth is 2. Numerology assigns a meaning to a number. For example the meaning of 1 is Unity or Strength or ‘I AM Lord’. The meaning of 2 is Division (or dis-unity). I did not get to Leo at the time I was doing the signs (way way back). I got busy with other things. Where is safe to live? I rent an apartment in a small town that has a grocery store and a hospital. But it also has a university there are travellers from afar who come too and fro. But now the university is shut down and all the students have gone home. Also I live in a rural province of Canada. Most of the time we have been the butt of jokes. But now it is the ‘glorious’ cities who are most threatened by the virus. So, I we feel like the privileged ones. But I am a retired farmer. So living close to the country was always a privilege for me. I have thought of doing videos and conferencing. I don’t seek personal attention. I’m afraid that’s what would come of it. Blessings.

Exodus 16 v 31 “And the house of Israel called its name Manna.” Hebrew word מן “m”+”n” = Mem (40) + Nun (50) = 90. Bible Number 90 means RIGHTEOUS SIFTED. Manna was a gift of grace. But some abused the grace {collected too much – acted in unbelief for God’s grace for tomorrow} and so were ‘sifted’ or ‘tested’. An alternative rendering is Mem (40) + Nun [Capital] [Sofit at end of word] (700) = 740. I have found the Sofit renderings have application to the Last Days: grace will come to end and with it 740 will appear. Look up 740 yourself on our Bible Numbers list and see what it means. For gematria meanings see our page HEBREW on the site. Blessings. servant mark

  20. Ron Hoy December 24, 2017 at 11:26 am #

    Bro. Mark
I am doing a study that encompasses some of the Tabernacle things. I’ve noticed that there are 3 door ways , with 3 doors ( 3 openings per door, made of 5 posts) , two of which are called hangings, and one of which is called a vail. Knowing the AV translators I suspected they were translated from different Hebrew words. Yes they were, and I found some interesting things. Hangings are from the word Macak, and Vail is Porketh. . Next in the Lexicon, and separated by 2 Hebrew letters is the word param , meaning to violently separate , tear or rend ( which is what eventually happened to the vail seeming to be a prophetic , predetermination of what was to come) . So I was curious if the difference between porketh and param could be mathematically significant when given as a equation The Gemmatra for porketh is 700 . The two letters removed ( Nun, and Koph) equals 420 so I subtracted 420 from 700 which equals 280. To make Peh and Resh spell out Param , We must add a Mem , which equals 40 . So 280 plus 40 equals 320. So going by your numerology chart we begin with Pride and riches , remove the rule of man and get delayed justice ( mercy?) to which we add a severe test , and come out with a shout of victory. AMEN ! The Jews were very proud of the Temple and their Priesthood( Levitical) It was very wealthy, and ruled by corrupt men Jesus Suffered a severe trial, took away the rule of an earthly priesthood, bringing us a reprive from God’s judgment and triumphing over Death , Hell , and the Grave !This makes sense, to me so my question is do you have a scriptural reference for the basis of your numeric interpretation. I don’t personally see any problem with your numbers, I would just like to tie them each to their origin in scripture. can you give me the reference in the scripture for your associating these numbers with the concepts you have listed ,for the numbers I have used here , and your opinion on this thought and equation. Thank you!

Are you affiliated with any specific group of believers?Where Thank you so much!

    • mark h lane December 23, 2017 at 9:34 am #

I have one affiliation: to the Lord Jesus who died for me. My membership in His body was sealed at the Cross when I died with Him and became one with Him. To exchange membership in His body for membership in a faction is a grave insult to the Cross. My loyalty and obedience is only to my right and just Lord and Savior. To become subservient to man’s leadership in man’s religion would be rebellion. I would no sooner join a ‘church’ with a paid professional ‘minister’ than I would cut my right arm off with a chain saw. There are some 60,000 denominations and factions in Christendom. Isn’t it time to put a stop to the dismemberment of the body of Christ? And the abhorrent sale of body parts?

As an added note, written on glass i saw “that it be done” with an eye sketched on another glass.

    • mark h lane December 10, 2017 at 8:35 pm #

Hi Shelley. The meaning of numbers is on the right hand side of the webpage. Our meaning for 76 is “PROPHET” and corresponds to Exodus 26 which contains all the measurements of the Tabernacle. Unless a Prophet knew the meaning of those numbers, how could he unpack the spiritual knowledge contained in the measurements? But I can’t speculate what your dream means. I will say that “EYE” is the Bible type for a Prophet. Did you not know prophets in the Bible are also called “SEER”(s)? Blessing. servant mark

Hello Mark, I found your website and have read with great interest. I had a dream and I believe it was from the Lord. However, I am yet to understand. • mark h lane June 10, 2017 at 7:03 pm #

Hi Sharon. I don’t recommend people to use Bible numbers to interpret dreams. We feel sure Bible numbers apply to things we know God authored: Creation, Stars, Scripture. We don’t advise using Bible numbers to things that are man-made: phone numbers, licence plates, addresses, etc. A dream comes out of your sub-conscious. That is too close for comfort to being man-made. Therefore we discourage applying numbers to dreams. servant mark

Hi I have seen 33 a few times and just recently something weird happened to me I woke up and had 81 written on the palm of my hand 3 times, I didn’t notice until I got in the shower one was really faded, first I thought it was 91 but the last 81 you could see clearly. I see that 3*3*3*3 is 81, I am going through many trials in my life as both my daughters are sick and I am seeking God. I have been trying to think did I pick up something that had a stamp or something on it and I am certain that its impossible. I hope this has a good meaning. It was witten just under my middle fingers on my right hand. I thought I would send my birth date I don’t know if it means anything but I am searching for answers maybe somebody will have them, birthdate 1/10/74
    Thanks

    • mark h lane April 20, 2017 at 9:11 pm #

Dear Chris. If you are seeking God simply open your heart and pray to him in the name of Jesus Christ. He gives to all generously who seek Him. If you do not believe Jesus Christ died and rose again from the dead, I can’t help you. People who are under stress sometimes get fixated on numbers. Ignore that. Just open your Bible anyplace and feed on the Word of God. Pray directly to God in the name of Jesus Christ. The way to God is not through the meaning of numbers on your fingers or your birth date. servant mark

Your purport the truth without harsh judgment – you lift me up – and from what others have said them too – I will fly not with the wings of a butterfly, but the wings of an eagle, that was God’s promise. it took me a while to start studying the bible and with the help of the holy spirit im making baby steps everyday and enjoying it ,I dream alot and would love to know what some dreams mean like recently i had a dream where ecclesiastes 38:14-17 kept on flashing in my mind but i know eccl doesnt have that many chapters .im yet to get a lead on what it means really ,
i also used to have episodes of sleep paralysis which have currently over the months stopped ,some people who are belivers told me it was fear..others witchcraft ..etc but part of me thinks its not an entirely bad thing ,just maybe a barrier to something spiritually cause when i recite ps23 in my head or call onto Jesus many times in may head for during that time i have no strength and my lips cant move so most work is in the head.,i usually overcome the paralysis..your work has shed some light on a few things so i have decided to read it theme by theme while studying the Bible ,,thank you very much, please do shed some light on the above concerns
    HEAVEN IS COUNTING ON YOU

    • mark h lane October 15, 2016 at 5:35 pm #

Hello Edith. I had unsettled sleep for many years. It turned out people I trusted were not true friends. I would call it spiritual warfare. God knows who are his. Concerning Ecclesiastes 38, start at Ecclesiastes chapter 1, then flip 37 chapters ahead, you get to Isaiah 18. Ecclesiastes 38 is Isaiah 18 according to spiritual counting (I know something about that). But Isaiah 18 only has 7 verses. So to get to verse 14 of Isaiah 18 you have to add another 7 verses, which get you to Isaiah 19 verse 7 “also the plants along the Nile, at the mouth of the river. Every sown field along the Nile will become parched, will blow away and be no more”. Hello Mark, I have been seeing the numbers 555 along with others a lot, so can you please explain how I can make sense of what these numbers means by using the spiritual list.
    Please help,.

    • mark h lane September 28, 2016 at 6:53 pm #

Hello Bertha. I went through a time when I saw the same numbers repeatedly every day for a long time. I looked up the chapter in the Bible corresponding to the number. (Example: number 10 look up Genesis 10. Number 60 look up Exodus 10.) When I read the chapter there was a message in it for me. The 555th chapter of the Bible is Psalm 77. Count out the chapters in the Bible and when you get a number read that chapter. This may only work for me and not for others. But I will say this one more thing. I don’t believe every time you see a number or have a dream of a number it means God sent it. So always look for other confirmation in your life of what a number means. Just like using Bible numbers in interpreting Bible passages, weigh the meaning of the number along with everything else, e.g. the context. Blessings. servant mark

555 means ‘SCARE SPEECHLESS’. It corresponds to the 555th chapter of the Bible Psalm 77. “The voice of your thunder was in the tornado; the lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook” (v18) The factors of 555 are 7 x 111 or ‘The End'(7) of ‘Fear of the LORD'(111). Or it can be written: 37 x 21 which is translated ‘Chosen Servant’ (37)(of) ‘Lawlessness’ (21). Imagine being charged by a Wild Ox. You get the idea.

Thank you for your swift response. To answer your question in regards to the Angels communicating.. I found that answer online however I never truly bought into it as I know the father communicates with his children directly. I have and continue to repent of my sins. I started seeing this number around the time I began researching how to understand dreams and visions through John Paul Jacksons ministry, going through a difficult time in my marriage and, fighting to overcome personal struggles. I allowed my marriage and personal struggles to take my focus away from my relationship with God through Jesus. Please know that I have recommitted my life and time back to God and I am persuaded to never again allow anything to separate me from the Love of God.

    • mark h lane June 23, 2016 at 3:01 pm #

My message to everyone is don’t put too much weight on numbers in dreams or ones that come across your path. This verges on superstition. As you say, go back to your direct personal relationship with Jesus. If you see numbers in the Bible, then apply the Biblical meaning of numbers. If you see numbers elsewhere, be cautious in making that application. My personal mail box is 222. I don’t let that damage my self-image in Christ which is based on his work on the Cross, not on a number on a box. Blessings! This is what comes to us through the Cross! servant mark

  36. Patricia June 23, 2016 at 7:52 am #

    Hello Mark!

For years now I keep seeing the number 222. Based upon my research so far it has something to do with my Angel communicating with me?!? I read a few of your replies to others and noted the importance to know the prime numbers of sequential numbers. So I found the prime factorization numbers for 222… 2,3,37 are the prime numbers.

1: unity, beginning 2: divide, oppose 3: divine things, truth, God, strength, binding 6: man, flesh 37: chosen servant 74: the beast 111: fear of the lord 222: son of a harlot.

Please help me to understand the meaning of seeing this number. I see it all the time I even stayed in a hotel room numbered 222.

    Thank you in advance

    • mark h lane June 23, 2016 at 10:35 am #

Hello Patricia. 111 means ‘Fear of the Lord’. 222 = 2 x 111. Or, ‘Division'(2) of ‘Fear of the Lord'(111). This is the essence of the son of a harlot: no respect for the Father. In Eastern culture (Biblical backdrop) the Father is the indisputable Head of the Home, or Lord of his people, his family. The son of a harlot has no respect for the Father, no Fear of the Lord. The 222nd chapter of the Bible is Judges 11, the story of Jepthah the Gileadite, a mighty warrior. But Jepthah was the son of a harlot, and was chased away by the legitimate sons of his father Gilead. Jepthah grew up without a father. His mother was a harlot. Hence the meaning of 222 fits. Now, Patricia. Why do you say angels are communicating with you? Have you asked Jesus to forgive your sins on the merits of his shed blood on Calvary alone? If you have, you are saved and reborn and the Spirit of God is in you. So, you hear the Spirit of God directly. No angel is needed to communicate. But if you resist confessing your sins, then you don’t accept the Father (God) for Whom Jesus is the Son. That makes you a ‘Son of a Harlot’! You won’t respect the Father. Could this be why you keep seeing 222? I hope it is not. Blessings. servant mark

  37. Paul April 20, 2016 at 12:32 am #

Just beginning to read some of your studies and works. Noticed that the “I am Joseph” document has an error on page 8 concerning gematria totals. While page 6 adds 10+6+60+80 equals 156, page 8 shows 10+6+60 equals 66 instead of 76, which means according to your own studies a completely different meaning i.e. 76 not for 66. Page 8 would, in error, be 66+80=146. I am assuming page six is correct, unless I am confused.

Yes my name is John I shot dope smoked crack etc most my life homeless etc see psalms 107 the Lord has delivered me I love this sight as God has used numbers to speak to me now God continues to show me 11,22,33,44,55,66,77 etc all types of double numbers what could be the significance of this if any insight is available led by spirit I’d really appreciate have a spirit filled day in Jesus name

    • mark h lane April 10, 2016 at 6:37 pm #

Hi John. Hope you are well in your body as you are well in your soul. Living rough takes it out of you. Concerning the double numbers, they are all multiples of 11, so the key to understanding them is to understand 11, which means “Darkness” or “Mystery”. When I look at 11 what I see is two towers or two trees. So Adam and Eve hid from the Lord among the trees of the garden, they preferred the darkness to the light. The number 22 means “Spiritual Light” because 22 = 2 x 11 or “Division” (2) of “Darkness” (11). This is what the Spiritual Light of the Truth of Jesus, the Word of God, does: it overcomes, or in spirit number lingo, it divides the “Darkness”. See John 1:5. “Spiritual Light” also “Divides” (2) the “Mystery” (11), it allows us to know things that are not discernible with human eyes, spiritual truths about God and how He rules the Universe. I could go on about the rest of the double numbers, but space does not permit that. Suffice to say, and this applies to all spiritual numbers: they possess the property that the meaning of any number is directly related to the meaning of its factors, particularly its prime factors. 11 is a prime number. In spiritual number interpretation, the meaning of the prime numbers is key, because the meaning of all other numbers is built up from their prime factors. Example 22 = 2 x 11. The number 22 is composed of two prime factors, 2 and 11. God bless brother. You will be in Jesus arms one day. See you then. servant mark

    • refusingtopanic April 10, 2016 at 4:15 pm #

      Also 10:10.

      • mark h lane April 10, 2016 at 4:52 pm #

For 10:10 I would personally read the 1010th chapter of the Bible, which is John 13, Jesus’ teaching of servant humility (washing the feet) and commandment to love one another. The meaning of 1010 is “Spiritual Leader Must Be Servant of All”. The number 1010 = 10 x 101 which is translated “Testimony” (10) {of} “Servants Cast Out” (101). How do we know a true Christian fellowship from an imitation? Look at the leaders. Do they give themselves titles and honorifics? Do they command respect? Do they require devotees of Christ to give them money to support a holy house, a salary, etc? These are the hirelings, not the true spiritual leaders. According to Christ, the true Christian fellowship has a testimony that it “Casts Out Rebels”, such as the pernicious professional minister-dom we see plaguing the saints today. The number 1010 suggests these things. Two 10s beside each other. 10 on one side, and 10 on the other side. This is what denominations produce: divisions in the testimony of Christ to the world. Christ emphasized this on the night He was betrayed. It is a lesson of utmost importance to a saint who desires above all things to please his Master who laid down His Life for him.

Dear Fellow Servant of Jesus Christ,
I am richly blessed by the insight the Lord has given you to open our eyes to what the stars are saying.
With the utmost sense of humility I observe that the sum of numbers in the second row of Prophecy in the Stars – Basic Level, appears to be bigger than it should. It appears to me the total should be 12 and not 15. I stand corrected if you have a superior explanation for the difference in the sum total of the numbers. More grace to you and your team. Shalom..

Thank you for your insight in biblical numerology. Since towards the end of last year, I am seeing the number 55 a lot. My eyes seem to be drawn to that number, be it number plates, time, temperature etc. When I used the table for numbers on this page I could not understand when against 55 it said resisting truth. I love God and fear God, seeking him daily. What could God be saying with the number 55 to me.

    • mark h lane March 23, 2016 at 8:47 am #

I would read the 55th chapter of the Bible which is Exodus 5 – the account of Moses (very bravely) demanding of Pharaoh: ‘let my people go’. Pharaoh’s response was this: ‘who is the LORD that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I do not know the LORD nor will I let Israel go.’ The spiritual number 55 means “RESIST TRUTH”. If God is trying to draw your attention to this number, my guess is there is something in the story of Exodus 5 that touches your life. I make no guarantee of that – but that is where I would look if I was experiencing what you are experiencing. Blessings. servant mark

O Benjamin. Do you seek your fortune? Then you are no better than Saul of Benjamin who went down to the witch of Endor. You won’t find your answer here. If your eyes have not yet been enlightened then go to your Master who died for you and beseech him for eye-salve. And in the freedom of that great salvation ask the LORD what small service you may be to Him. For we are not left on this earth to seek a destiny, a future, a plot of land, an ox, a wife. Do ye not know these are the Last Days? Seek the LORD while He may still be found. He is your prophet, your king, your friend. He has answers to all your heart. Call on Him. Call on Him.

Good day, I am going through an extremely stressful time in my life. Not sleeping well. Experiencing nightmares. I vividly saw the number 75 appear above my door the other night. I am a reborn Christian, so do not want anything to do with any interpretation except that which is from the Lord. Thank you.

    • mark h lane January 9, 2016 at 2:02 pm #

Hello Pat. I’m truly sorry to hear of your stress. You may be fighting in your own strength. Come aside. Rest quietly – wait for Him. May God give you peace in your heart. If you have trusted your life to the Lord Jesus, he loves you like his own child. Seek His face. He will make a path for you. Be at peace with God: these world’s troubles and concerns are passing. The future is so much better than this place. Endure patiently. Ask Him to reveal any sin. Confess your sin to God. You are healed in Jesus Name. Regarding your dream, the number 75 means ‘Evangelist’. 7 means ‘sword’ and 5 means ‘weakness’. The evangelist says to the people: the sword of God is coming to judge your weakness in obeying his commandments (your sin). Turn to Christ, believe on his name and be saved. If you confess that Jesus is Lord and you believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, your sins are forgiven. Now everything is changed, the ‘sword’ is ‘weak’ – God’s judgment to come has no power over you! Whatever is causing you stress today Pat – that is nothing like the stress of standing before God for judgment. That is the Day we must fear.

Hello, you say that the number 160 equals to, or refers to the “SEPARATED CHURCH,” and that it is connected to the Two Witnesses. Can you tell me more specifically why? Thanks! Best regards, HS

    • mark h lane May 16, 2015 at 6:53 am #

Here is a copy of the text from the side panel of the website: (the same list is also provided at the bottom of the Home Page)

      THEME 13 – TWO WITNESSES

      SAINTS ABOVE, TWO WITNESSES BELOW…

      159 FAITHFUL CHURCH
      160 SEPARATED CHURCH
      161 PURIFIED CHURCH

      163 WORD HID IN HEART
      166 DETEST IDOL WORSHIP
      178 TWO WITNESSES

      179 POOR HAVE FAITH
      183 DEADLY BLOW
      184 BELIEVERS’ SLEEP

The number 160 means ‘SEPARATED CHURCH’ OR ‘HOLY CHURCH’. The raptured Christians are the ‘HOLY CHURCH’ – we will be in Heaven – ‘saints above’ – when the ministry of the Two Witnesses occurs on earth – ‘two witnesses below’. If you look on the Spiritual Number Map 158 – 211 you will see the Bible chapters that correspond to these numbers. For example 160 corresponds to 2 Cor 11 and Deut 7. The number 160 = 10 x 16 which means ‘Testimony’ (10) of the ‘Sacrifice’ (16). The number 160 = 32 x 5 which means ‘Fellowship’ (32) of ‘Grace’ (5). For more insight into how we arrive at our spiritual number meanings please see the explanation on Page 2 THEMES. The explanation of how we arrive at the meaning of the hundreds and hundreds of numbers is not provided here. Partly this is to encourage students to do their own research and see if these things be true.

    What do 41 mean

    • Laronda waddell May 4, 2015 at 7:47 am #

Mans rules what that suppose to mean

      • mark h lane May 4, 2015 at 8:00 am #

‘Mans Rules’ can mean: (1) the rules man invents to order his society {which is different in every culture}; or (2) the rules for man dictated by God in the Law of Moses. This number has a negative connotation – I have found in my own research most often in the context of holy people who know God it is the first meaning that applies. But, sometimes when men reject God – the rules for man dictated by God are offensive to them, and in this case the second meaning applies.

    • mark h lane March 26, 2015 at 4:06 pm #

Hi Suzan. If you look on Page 2 THEMES you will see some examples of how we derive the meaning of numbers. It is part science, part logic, and part inspiration of the Holy Spirit. 50. Rodney B. Johnson January 11, 2015 at 3:20 am #

The seed of woman has 23 chromosomes. The seed of man has 23 chromosomes. The number 23 means DEATH. When a man’s seed and woman’s seed unite at CONCEPTION, there are 23 PAIRS of chromosomes, but 46 total. The number 46 means RECONSTRUCTED LIFE. Hmmmmm!!!

    • mark h lane January 11, 2015 at 10:34 am #

The miracle of birth is life out of death. A cell with 23 chromosomes cannot reproduce by the usual way of cell division – that means unless it joins another cell of 23 chromosomes is doomed to die. When 23 chromosomes from the woman meet 23 chromosomes from the man they form a new life, a new human being, a life reconstructed (46) from those two dying cells.

The Seed of the Woman had 23 chromosomes. God miraculously added another 23 so that Jesus was born a healthy boy. But as the prophetic ‘Seed of the Woman’ Jesus was ‘Doomed to Die’ on the Cross for our sins. That was his fate, and he embraced it because he loved the Father and always did his will.

I know you have more wisdom from G-d then I do but I’m just curious cause I’m a created being in G-d’s own image. May you bless me with your wisdom from God, Amen.

Hello. I don’t know what kind of wisdom a farmer like me has, probably not much. The Bible says “To him who overcomes… I will give him a white stone and on the stone will be a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” Rev. 2:17 So, would it not be better for you to ask God to empower you to overcome? Why would you want to know the meaning of your old name if God will give you a new and better one? Pray and seek the face of your God. “If anyone of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (Jas. 1:5) Blessings, dear brother. Hi Kassie. My spam checker is over zealous – sorry for the disappeared comment. My advice with blogging is stay true to your heart – publish what you really mean to say even if you think it might be unpopular. Don’t be too concerned about the viewers – popularity is over-rated. If one person is blessed then exercise is worth it. Having said that – listen to the comments – it will give you a clue in what ways the message is not getting through. Don’t change the message – but change how you convey it so people get it. Blessings in Jesus. mark h lane

I do believe all the concepts you’ve introduced for your post. They are really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are very short for beginners. May just you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.

Dear Mark, just so you know I did follow-up on your e-mail of today. Wonderful to reconnect with an old friend. I have read the introduction to your numbersforlife website. I will, over the months to come, work through the modules. Amazing the amount of work you have made available to all. Thank you, John Starkey, Tempe, AZ 5-26-13

        Hi Mark

Does your understanding of the Biblical number system work similar to math ie if you know one date in a timeline you may be able to determine others?

Hi Max. 1 AD corresponds the first book, if using the one-book = one year method, or the first verse, if using the one-verse = one year method. So Genesis 1 is 1 AD, Exodus 1 is 51 AD, Leviticus 1 is 91 AD, etc. When you get to 1189 AD you reach the end of the chapters of the Bible. So 1190 AD is Genesis 1 again (2nd time around). 1191 is Genesis 2, etc. You can start counting in Genesis 1 (Books of Law) or Job 1 (Books of Wisdom), or Isaiah 1 (Books of Prophets), or even Matthew 1 (Gospels). Starting in different places will provide different insights. Genesis 1 counting will emphasize prophecy of governments [they make the laws]. Enjoy! servant mark
